A Journey to Self, Namaste. Welcome Home. This screen dance is an explorative improvisation developed in reaction to the environment. This Takes place in 3 Garden locations significant of nature. From the Sun, Water, Air and Earth, I use the tools of life to remember who I am, answering the call of dance, I present 'In Discovery of Self'

This dance gives representation of the energy, spark, and flare given of the sun and connects it to the presence of a son. Correlating the joy and life that exists within them. The sun rises in a new energy daily and SUNS explores that and father-son relationship, brother-brother relationship, and mother-son relationship.

This piece expresses a day in the life of our ancestors and how their lifestyle was back in the original days of Jazz. inspired by family stories and history, this dance culminated with the intention of taking the audience into a time where the dance was all we had to keep us in joy. Slaves typically partied all night even after working all day. In Frolics, Ring Shout, Farming, every step was a dance and that is what is reflected in this work.

Performed at 'Loose Leaves Fall 2023', "Living Room Flow" connects the Black Experience to the sacred common space we all share. Fusing many social dance genres such as Authentic Jazz, Samba, House, and more.
